Green Salon presented at meeting of Hair and Beauty Teachers

On the 27th of April 2016, the meeting took place in the Teacher´s Educative Center of Marbella, a Meeting of Hair and Beauty Teachers from Málaga and Cádiz with the aim of knowing last trends in the sector, exchanging educative experiences and creating a social net between interested persons.
Hair and Beauty lecturers from IES El Palo participated in the Meeting. It is worth mentioning the presentation made by our Hairdressing lecturer, Esther López Merino about: “Perspectives and Future in the Personal Image Sector. Sustainability and Professional Management”.
During the presentation, the speaker explained the importance of this two issues to face a successful future and demonstrated it with different figures and data from different sources.
With this purpose our School actively participates in the Eurasmus + Project: “Future Skills and Sustainable Development in the Green Salons” with the aim, between others, of developing learning materials, educative games and different tools to measure and increase sustainability and professional management within the H&B Sector.
After a constructive debate we could appreciate the big interest and acceptance of the European Project and we took on the commitment to share with them and to disseminate all the outputs and information we will achieve.
It was a very interesting Meeting and we did realise the necessity of information and education in this subjects so that it encourages us, even more, to keep the research and innovation with our European partners.
